Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, also known as cosmetic acupuncture and acupuncture ‘face lift’, is a procedure that aims to address the signs of ageing as well as improve general wellbeing which may be compromised as we age.
The acupuncture face lift helps to:

Increase collagen production and improve the elasticity of the skin
Help eliminate and reduce
Help increase local circulation of blood and lymph to the face and so moisturises skin and can improve facial colour
Tighten pores
Can help in lifting drooping eyelids
Brighten the eyes
Reduce double chins, bags under eyes, and decrease the tendency towards sagging and jowls
Eliminate fine lines of the face and reduce the effect of larger wrinkles Improve hormonal balance, therefore may assist in addressing hormonal acne

Comments from two of my patients undergoing the full course of Cosmetic Acupuncture. They are both still in the early treatments so watch this space for updates!

Loraine Harding – 03/04/2009

“When the needles are inserted, feelings range from slight discomfort to pain. But these are transient, and one is left with a tingling sensation and the skin also feels as if it is tightening. After just two treatments I noticed a difference and comments were made by people who told me my skin looked more ‘glowing’.”

Moira Everett – 03/04/2009

“After the first session I felt a noticeable difference. My eyebrows seemed to sit a little higher, and I thought there was an obvious improvement in the jowl area. My skin also had a healthy glow which I feel has persisted until my second session 3 days later. I have now just had my second session, and my whole face feels tighter and lifted and again has a lovely healthy glow, with the distinct feeling that my eyebrows are lifted!”

Thank you both for your time and kind comments,

Louise
