As some of you may know new rules came into place from May 2011 about herbal dispensary. We will no longer be able to prescribe patent herbs (pills). This means that I will be extending the herbal dispensary as all prescriptions will now have to be handled in-house. This is a great step forward for Chinese Herbal Medicine and will mean that unlicensed practitioners will no longer be able to dispense herbs. We already have a Chinese loose herb dispensary, however, I am hoping to extend the dispensary to include powders and custom-made pills. I will keep you updated on the progress over the next few weeks.
